This program allows seniors over the age of 55 to receive fresh fruit and vegetables each week. It is so popular with the seniors they start lining up a 5: AM when we don’t open until 8: AM. I think it is a social event for more information call our office at (559) 674-1482,

Senior Brown Bag Program

Madera low-income seniors over 60 years of age are eligible to receive supplemental food bag one time a month.

This once-a-month distribution is the main social outing for some of these low-income seniors. Because of this, the seniors are encouraged to come together and help pack the individual bags so that receiving their Brown Bag is a social event as well as a distribution of food.
